{"id":777,"date":"2024-11-10T17:26:00","date_gmt":"2024-11-10T17:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saltoecologico.es\/?p=777"},"modified":"2025-04-19T17:27:12","modified_gmt":"2025-04-19T17:27:12","slug":"eolica-marina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/saltoecologico.es\/index.php\/2024\/11\/10\/eolica-marina\/","title":{"rendered":"E\u00f3lica marina"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De todas las generaciones el\u00e9ctricas no gestionables que utilizan energ\u00edas renovables, la m\u00e1s compleja desde el punto de vista t\u00e9cnico en sin lugar a duda la e\u00f3lica marina o e\u00f3lica \u201coffshore\u201d. Efectivamente, los aerogeneradores marinos que conforman estos parques offshore presentan una serie de caracter\u00edstica t\u00e9cnicas que los hacen tremendamente complejos de fabricar y de dise\u00f1ar. En primer lugar, el ambiente marino al que est\u00e1n sometidos los hace muy proclives a la corrosi\u00f3n y degradaci\u00f3n impl\u00edcito del entorno, lo que obliga a utilizar materiales y dise\u00f1os muy vanguardistas y altamente especializados. Por otro lado, tenemos la necesidad de cimentarlos al lecho marino o bien anclarlos dependiendo de si son flotantes o no. Adem\u00e1s, las infraestructuras para transportar la energ\u00eda generada se antoja arto complicada porque hay que desarrollar subestaciones que van a funcionar en alta mar, as\u00ed como largos y complejos cables submarinos que van a traer la electricidad a tierra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Todos estos factores y algunos otros, hacen que estas instalaciones sean altamente costosas, llegando incluso al orden de tres y cuatro veces el coste de un parque e\u00f3lico en tierra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin embargo, vemos como cada vez m\u00e1s las instalaciones offshore se van extendiendo por todo el planeta, convirti\u00e9ndose en el eje troncal del cambio de paradigma a una generaci\u00f3n renovable, para descarbonizar lo antes posible los sistemas el\u00e9ctricos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Antes de proseguir en las razones de este auge convendr\u00eda aclarar algunos conceptos. Es com\u00fan hablar cotidianamente de los watios que tiene un electrodom\u00e9stico. As\u00ed por ejemplo podemos decir que tenemos un secador de pelo de 1.000 watios, lo que nos da una cierta idea de lo potente que puede ser. Sin embargo, cuando vamos a pagar \u201cla luz\u201d no nos aparece un apartado que diga \u201cpor tener un secador de 1.000 watios se le cobra tanto\u201d. Lo que aparece es una cantidad de kilovatios hora (kWh), que viene a ser la energ\u00eda consumida y no la potencia de los elementos que tenemos en casa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volviendo al ejemplo del secador de pelo, no pagaremos lo mismo si tenemos el secador encendido cinco minutos que si lo tenemos una hora. Pues bien, si nosotros tenemos nuestro secador encendido una hora, el gasto que hemos hecho es de 1.000 vatios hora, es decir un kilovatio hora (1 kWh). Pues bien, ese kWh es la energ\u00eda consumida y los 1.000 vatios (1 kW), ser\u00e1 la potencia del electrodom\u00e9stico, que ser\u00e1 la que deberemos tener en cuenta para cuando gestionemos la potencia de contrataci\u00f3n de nuestra vivienda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Con los grupos generadores ocurre algo similar, solo que en vez de pagar ellos a ellos se les paga. Si tenemos un generador de un megavatio (1MW), la energ\u00eda que es capaz de generar depender\u00e1 de esa potencia y del tiempo que est\u00e9 funcionando. De esa forma, la energ\u00eda m\u00e1xima anual que puede llegar a proporcionarnos ese generador de 1 MW ser\u00e1 la siguiente:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Energ\u00eda = 1 MW x 24 horas x 365 d\u00eda = 8.760 MWh<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Para poder comparar el grado de eficiencia de los generadores surgi\u00f3 el termino \u201cFactor de Capacidad\u201d y que viene a ser el porcentaje de energ\u00eda que produce con respecto al valor m\u00e1ximo que podr\u00eda producir. En el caso mencionado el factor de capacidad ser\u00eda del 100%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Obviamente ninguna m\u00e1quina puede estar funcionando 24 horas 365 d\u00edas al a\u00f1o, porque existen aver\u00edas, hay que hacer mantenimientos, paradas imprevistas, etc. Para hacernos una idea los grupos t\u00e9rmicos de combustibles f\u00f3siles tienen un factor de capacidad en torno al 80%, la generaci\u00f3n geot\u00e9rmica un 85%, la fotovoltaica fija sobre el 19%, la fotovoltaica con seguimiento a un eje el 28% y a dos ejes cercano al 33%. Por \u00faltimo, la e\u00f3lica terrestre est\u00e1 en torno al 20% aproximadamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Si con todo lo expuesto hasta ahora decimos que el factor de capacidad de la e\u00f3lica marina est\u00e1 en torno al 60%, podremos comenzar a apreciar el verdadero alcance de esta tecnolog\u00eda. Efectivamente la potencia e intensidad del viento mar adentro es mucho mayor que en tierra por lo que los aerogeneradores marinos producen mayor cantidad de energ\u00eda que sus hermanos de tierra. Un aerogenerador offshore produce el triple de energ\u00eda que su hom\u00f3nimo de tierra de igual potencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pero es que adem\u00e1s de ser el viento m\u00e1s intenso tambi\u00e9n es mucho m\u00e1s constante y de esta forma la generaci\u00f3n producida es mucho m\u00e1s estable que la generada en tierra, donde es usual que las curvas de esta generaci\u00f3n sean aut\u00e9nticos dientes de sierra con continuos picos y valles que crean muchas distorsiones en el sistema el\u00e9ctrico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por \u00faltimo, hay que mencionar el hecho de que al existir menos restricciones de todo tipo en la offshore los aerogeneradores pueden tener mayor envergadura y de esta forma mientras que para la e\u00f3lica terrestre suele ser lo habitual aerogeneradores de hasta 5 MW en la e\u00f3lica marina suele ser normal aerogeneradores de 15 MW y m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por todas las razones esgrimidas y por otras m\u00e1s complejas la e\u00f3lica marina es sin lugar a dudas uno de los pilares tecnol\u00f3gicos de la descarbonizaci\u00f3n de los sistemas el\u00e9ctricos y est\u00e1 llamada a tener un desarrollo muy importante en los pr\u00f3ximos lustros.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>De todas las generaciones el\u00e9ctricas no gestionables que utilizan energ\u00edas renovables, la m\u00e1s compleja desde el punto de vista t\u00e9cnico en sin lugar a duda la e\u00f3lica marina o e\u00f3lica \u201coffshore\u201d.
